Announcing The Villas at Avery Creek

Universal Development & Construction (UDC) announced today their first project in North Carolina. This new project will be a 255 multi-family townhome and apartment community jointly developed with its partner, Mitch Cox Companies (MCC).

With roots in East Tennessee, UDC has been partnering with MCC for over a decade with a focus on developing multi-family housing across the Tri-Cities region and a commitment to continual, thoughtful development with individual communities in mind.

Located on Brevard Road near the Arcadia Dairy Farms and the Cliffs community, the development will be called The Villas at Avery Creek and will offer one, two and three bedroom townhomes and apartments, many with drive-under garages. The Villas at Avery Creek is the fifteenth multi-family development in UDC’s portfolio of over 1,500 apartments, townhomes and houses. Rents are expected to start around $795 for a one-bedroom apartment and go up to $1,295 for a three bedroom.

The Villas at Avery Creek community will be located in southern Buncombe County, Asheville, North Carolina

Grading is already underway on the project site and the first units are expected to be available for rent in the fall of 2018.

Clubhouse amenities will include a resort-style saltwater swimming pool, outdoor patio with fireplace, grilling area, laundry center, business center, coffee bar and a fitness center with free weights and cardio machines. The community will also feature a fenced-in dog park and a children’s playground.
