Bob Hanrahan
Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer / Universal Living
With 30 years of experience in the real estate industry, Bob is responsible for the strategic growth and oversight of UDC’s property management platform and division, including the integration of current construction and future development projects. Prior to joining UDC, Bob repositioned a workforce housing real estate portfolio comprised of 5,000 units for RESSCO. While at Redwood Capital Group, he led strategic growth, supervision, and oversight of the property management company, including the multifamily platform. Serving as a Senior Vice President of Asset Management with American Realty Advisors, he oversaw a $1.2-billion portfolio of multi-family assets. At Buckingham Companies, he was responsible for 15,000 multi-family units located throughout the Midwest. Serving RREEF, a pension fund advisory group owned by Deutsche Bank, he was a vice president in asset management where he was responsible for the oversight of third-party property managers and construction groups.
Bob received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from DePaul University in Chicago, and his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is also a Certified Property Manager (CPM®) and holds a Managing Brokers License in the State of Illinois.
